With more than 20 years of experience, the name of Dr. Maria Elena Placenza<\/strong>, better known as Elena Placenza<\/strong>, is linked to dental health in the dental field.<\/p>

In 2021 it inaugurated the new and unique headquarters to be able to welcome its patients in easily accessible spaces, increasingly comfortable and equipped with the most innovative technologies.<\/p>

Dr. Maria Elena Placenza<\/strong> believes in excellence, innovation and training: for this reason she never stops studying and updating herself on the most innovative and least invasive techniques for the patient.<\/p>

The office of Dr. Maria Elena Placenza<\/strong> is located in Via degli Iris 47, a central area of \u200b\u200bthe city of Trapani, easily reachable by car and public and private transport.<\/p>

The Waiting Room,<\/strong> designed as an integral part of the practice, is comfortable, furnished with comfortable and welcoming seats where you can wait in complete relaxation for your appointment and a monitor that illustrates the various activities of the practice.<\/p>

The Operations Room<\/h3>

The Operations Room<\/strong> is very large and bright and has all the instruments relating to patient care.<\/p>

After each visit, the dental chair and all connected accessories including the suction tubes are also disinfected and sanitized with products certified by the Ministry of Health.<\/p>

The water system is equipped with an Anti-Legionella Filter which is replaced periodically and the circulating water that ends up in the patient's mouth and in the rinse glass is subjected to an annual analysis at the reference analysis laboratory.<\/p>

The Sterilization Room<\/h3>

The Sterilization Room <\/strong>where, with strict protocols dictated by the World Health Organization, everything used operationally is cleansed, disinfected and sterilized. In this area, all the instruments used follow a strict decontamination, disinfection and sterilization process.<\/p>

It is equipped with an autoclave, ultrasonic tank, hot bagging machine and labeller.<\/p>

The autoclave (sterilizer) is constantly monitored and subjected to functionality verification tests according to the laws in force (Elix test, vacuum test, etc.) capable of guaranteeing the perfect functioning of each sterilization cycle.<\/p>

All instruments are packaged sterile and labeled; the serial number of each sterilization cycle is reported in a special register<\/p>

The firm's water system is differentiated from the city water supply by means of special wells and equipment such as the periodically replaced \"amalgam separator\" which prevents the spillage of material into common water pipes.<\/p>

The electro-medical equipment is subjected to biannual checks to verify its correct functioning to protect the patient.<\/p>

The private Studio<\/h3>

The private studio<\/strong> is the place of welcome, knowledge and conversation between Dr. Maria Elena Placenza and the patient. In this environment the doctor gets to know the patient, gives treatment instructions, recommends specific treatments for a specific patient, makes prescriptions, obtains consent for treatment; the patient gets to know the doctor, asks his questions, explains his expectations and learns to gain trust in Dr. Maria Elena Placenza.<\/p>
